Can't I Just Eat An Avocado? -1

You'll be practicing a skill that doesn't come easily. Because you want to succeed, you will acquire excellence.

Wait, wait, wait. Is this a skill that doesn't come easily to me, or doesn't come easily to anyone? I've been practicing all kinds of skills that don't come easily to me: skating, running, being nice on a consistent basis....am I going to be working extra hard on one of these today? MORE INFORMATION PLEASE!

Beneficial colors are avocado green and coffee brown. Lucky numbers are 13 and 15.

Avocado green is not a beneficial color for anyone.

I wore my avocado green scarf all day only to sit in a freezing meeting for an hour and a half and end up with a killer verging-on-migraine headache that made me miss a birthday party AND find out that the class I was looking forward to taking was canceled! Horoscope, you F'ed up today. Big time!

Come On Let's Go!

You are more adventurous than others on your team. If you can assuage their fears, you will rise to the top.

I'M adventurous? And I'm SO tired of talking people into things.

Anyone you need to recruit for a cause will be signing on the dotted line.

Oh, I see. There's a theme. OK, wish I knew what I'm supposed to talk someone into. Especially since I already talked a kid into coming to Bring A Friend We're Gonna Break Boards day at karate with my son today and it was actually on SATURDAY!

I have an audition today. Maybe I'll talk them into hiring me.

So I don't know what this has to do with others on my team and talking them into stuff but I was TOTALLY adventurous this morning and worked my way up to doing a waltz jump at skating class! Go me!

I'm prepared 8

You may find it difficult to sleep tonight, so keep a pen and pad handy to journal your troubles away before bedtime.

I never sleep when Husband is out of town; he and Son are in FL with in-laws. I'm sure 60 degrees feels sweltering compared to -4, not that I'm bitter. I mean, I get to go to Colorado in 2 weeks with the skating team. Woohoo (and that is not the LEAST bit sarcastic).

So here I am, journaling my troubles away before bedtime. What are my troubles? Nothing a big fat check wouldn't solve. Just me and the rest of the country, I guess.

Though I could have solved those problems easily tonight. Daughter and I were working the Whalers game and a man ordered a hot dog. When I asked him if he wanted anything else he said "Do you come with that?" I said "I'm pretty high-maintenance." He said "I can afford it."

So I guess I'm not that desperate for a big fat check after all.

Busy busy busy 9

Your 10th House of Public Responsibility is receiving a lot of attention, especially when noisy Mercury arrives for a 3-week visit. Although today may be a day of rest on the calendar, you are in a period of rock and roll where the excitement mounts and pretty much anything can happen. It may be tempting to drift off and be an observer, but it's a lot more entertaining to remain an active participant.

I really don't like Public Responsibility and I don't know why Mercury has to be so noisy and I don't have time for anything exciting. Trying to write a book here.

But I would be lying if I said I would eschew the excitement for rest and relaxation. It's just not in me. And I think it's pretty interesting that three weeks from today is the Skate for the Cure event that I am helping to promote, with Thanksgiving and ice show auditions, and a competition, and book due date in between.

Oh, and Christmas shopping, and getting gifts wrapped because we're going on vacation, and making sure everyone has clothes for warm weather to wear on vacation, and getting ready for Son's birthday party.

And selling Christmas Cookie Trees.

What else have I forgotten? Three weeks might not be enough time.
